This time I want to share with you this excellent build of a Hero Revisited X-Wing kit, done by Dave Thomas. Dave kindly accepted to share the pictures of his beautiful build. I personally loved the weathering he achieved, the droid strip is one of the more accurate versions I have seen of Luke’s X-Wing. The burnt and rust effects of the engines are very realistic, plus the paint damage and general weathering make of this Red 5 an amazing replica of ILM’s Red 5 original filming model.
